Brazil will hope for a much-improved performance when they take on Australia in the second of two friendlies in Brisbane.
The five-time World Cup winners were indebted to a late equaliser from substitute Rayan to salvage a 1-1 draw from the opener in Townsville last week, a result that increased the noise around head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The veteran Italian insisted on Monday that he was more concerned about the long term than results in friendlies but there is no doubt he could do with a win at Suncorp Stadium to silence the sceptics.
Australia's task is to try to deliver a repeat performance that gave Tony Popovic's men plenty of encouragement ahead of the Asian Cup in January.
