Bayern Munich's global ecosystem has a further reach than more would think, as 19-year-old Uruguayan winger Rodrigo Dudok prepares to join Primeira Liga side Estrela da Amadora on loan from Racing Club de Montevideo. The move seemingly has no connection to Bayern, but you would be surprised.
Per a report captured by @iMiaSanMia, Dudok has recently been undergoing the trial process at Bayern Munich after being brought directly to Säbener Straße to train alongside Vincent Kompany's first-team squad. The move relies heavily on deep ties to the Bavarian giants on multiple fronts. Dudok plays for Racing de Montevideo, a club operating under Bayern's official joint venture, Red&Gold Football. His impressive displays in Munich caught the eye of Estrela da Amadora's newly established German-led ownership consortium, which is co-owned by Bayern icon Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels, and headed by former Bayern executive Johannes Mosmang. Recognizing the talent on display at FC Bayern's training ground, the Portuguese club moved quickly to secure his signature on loan before the transfer window closes.
